All Tangled Up is I think the first to finish something for Kisiizi. I won't give you the link till the end, because I've actually dusted off my camera, taken some photos, downloaded them onto the computer, cropped and resized them and finally uploaded them here to the blog. It seems like a very long time since I last did it. After all that, I don't want you wandering over there and not coming back!
Although I haven't been blogging I have been knitting. I made a stripey bias garter stitch blanket and edged it with crochet (to try to even up the sides a bit). It's not a perfect article and it's smaller than we're aiming for, but it is rather cosy and so I think it's worth putting in the box.
I've also been experimenting with patterns and yarns to make cardigans. They need a few finishing touches, like buttons.
I have seen several patterns for baby jackets knitted sideways in garter stitch with short-row shaping. I started one in Koigu using a pattern from a Bergere de France pattern book:
I really liked how it was going, but came to the conclusion that I would need more than 50g of the blue, which is all I have of that colour. So it was frogged and I am now knitting a similar Drops pattern (here) using Matchmaker 4 ply. I'll go back to this idea later.
Two more people have signed up to knit: Jill and Purly Queen .
OK, now you can go and see All Tangled Up. Bye!
You have been so busy, again, I just love your knitting, so precious is are the babythings!

As per Dawn's question, when do you need these by? If the deadline's not too close I am sure that I can find the time to make a little cardigan or so. x

Hi,Brigid, I've knit some things already - some of it is on my blog. I did try to activate some links but I am at the verge of my skills and it didn't work - never sure why.
This thing could really take off.

Put me down to knit as well Brigid. I have tons of left over sock yarn which I am sure would do fine for hats.

making hats will give me a chance to use up some of the left-overs from socks. I'm terrible about hoarding stuff and with some of the socks that I make, there is 20-30g left... enouch for hats.
You've done loads, so I'm not the first.

Do you have an end date?
